Hutchinson to discuss water resources from an engineering perspective for students of natural resources and environmental sciences
Stacy Hutchinson, associate professor of biological and agricultural engineering at Kansas State University, will give a public lecture at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, in the K-State Student Union Little Theater.
Hutchinson will discuss the issues surrounding water quantity and quality and how engineers contribute to a better understanding of water resources in urban and rural areas. Her talk is being presented for students participating in the capstone course of the natural resources and environmental science secondary major and is open to the general public as part of the new Natural Resources and Environmental Science and Sustainability Science Seminar Series. Undergraduate students interested in natural resources, environmental science, and sustainability issues are especially encouraged to attend.
The presentation is sponsored by the natural resources and environmental science secondary major and the office of sustainability.
