The College of Education film to air on KTWU to coincide with Brown v. Board of Education anniversary

A Long Road

A College of Education film project produced through a Michael C. Tilford Faculty Incentive Grant will air across northeast Kansas on public access channel KTWU throughout the month of April.

"A Long Road: 150 Years of Collective Experience from Five African-American K-State Alumni" is scheduled to air:

  • 2 p.m. April 6 on KTWU HD
  • 11:30 a.m. April 15 on KTWU Enhance
  • 9 p.m. April 18 on KTWU HD
  • 10 p.m. April 20 on KTWU HD
  • 4 p.m. April 27 on KTWU Enhance

Please check local listings as the station may continue to air the film through May to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education landmark case that ended school segregation.

Educators are invited to visit the Midwest Equity Assistance Center website to download the documentary’s free lesson plans aligned to the common core.
