Engineering Open House Friday, Saturday

In addition to the All-University Open House activities, the College of Engineering would like to invite everyone to the 92nd Engineering Open House. The theme, "Build Your Creativity," will celebrate the accomplishments of the departments, showcase individual student research projects and display the successes of many student organizations. Additionally, there will be a pancake feed, tours of the nuclear reactor and children's games sponsored by BNSF Railroad. We look forward to your participation in these events! An hour-by-hour schedule of events can be seen below.
Friday
Noon to 1 p.m.
Parade, opening ceremonies and crowning of St. Patrick and St. Patricia in Bosco Plaza.
1:30-4:30 p.m.
Self-guided tours of departmental displays in Seaton, Durland, Rathbone, Fiedler and Ward halls.
2:30-3:45 p.m.
Durland Hall departmental features.
3:30-4:45 p.m.
Rathbone, Fiedler and Ward halls departmental features.
6-8 p.m.
Student celebration including food, games, and prizes in Fiedler Hall.
Saturday
7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Pancake Feed in 142 Seaton Hall.
9 a.m.
Balsa bridge building high school competition.
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Student, department, design team and industrial displays throughout Seaton, Durland, Rathbone, Fiedler and Ward halls.
9:30-10:30 a.m.
Meet and greet the engineering deans in 1044 Rathbone Hall.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Whip’n around campus races, East of Rathbone Hall.
10:30 a.m.
Balsa bridge building open competition, Fiedler Hall.
