K-State Rotaract Club volunteers in Guatemala

Submitted by Rachel Loder

The K-State Rotaract Club traveled to Patanatic, Guatemala, over spring break to volunteer with local communities in region of Lake Atitlán. The group worked for four days building and delivering beds, installing water filters, assessing ceramic cook stoves, and performing fecal smears to search for local parasites. The group consisted of 12 students and one professor.

Upon returning, the students compiled their videos into one project.
