The society foundation board has awarded Ananda Bandara, doctoral student in plant pathology, the Zahir Eyal Student Travel Award.
Each award is for $500 and will offset costs to attend and present research at the annual society meeting in Minneapolis this summer. Both are graduate students in Christopher Little's research lab in the plant pathology department.
