Live stream option for tomorrow's National Science Foundation program director presentation

Engineering research and graduate programs will host a presentation by Fahmida Chowdhury, National Science Foundation program director in multidisciplinary activities, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday in 1107 Fiedler Hall, Fiedler Auditorium.

A live stream option will be available. Please note that the presentation will not be recorded.

Chowdhury's presentation is "Overview of NSF Funding with Special Focus on Capacity-Building Programs."

Chowdhury will discuss science, technology, engineering and mathematics capacity-building programs at the undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral levels as well as interdisciplinary programs, EPSCoR and international programs. An overview of the National Science Foundation also will be presented including: structure and organization, funding mechanisms and pathways, proposal submission and review process, suggested "do's and don'ts" for principal investigators, and a Q-and-A session.

Caterina Scoglio, professor in electrical and computer engineering, is hosting Chowdhury's K-State visit.
