Geography Colloquium Friday examines rise of chemical agriculture in grasslands
David Vail, assistant professor in the special collections department at Kansas State University, will give a public lecture at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, in 132 Seaton Hall.
Vail's talk is "Where Science and Farming Meet: The Rise of Chemical Agriculture in North America's Grasslands."
His presentation is sponsored by the Beta Psi chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geographic honor society, and the geography department.
