Faculty/staff demonstrate K-State is more than their employer by contributing $1.2 million
Submitted by Susan Wolf Berhow
Thank you to all who participated in the 2014 All-University Campaign for K-State. More than 2,100 employees gave back to K-State this year – that's over 41 percent of faculty and staff. This resulted in a collective contribution of more than $1.2 million. Thank you for considering K-State more than your employer and giving back to the university you serve every day.
Participants in this year's campaign will be celebrated at a special appreciation in Bramlage on Sunday, Jan. 11 at 1 p.m., when the K-State women's basketball team will take on the University of Kansas. Participants in this year's campaign should watch for an email this week with a promo code for discounted tickets and more.
The All-University Campaign is just one way K-State faculty and staff have a direct impact on the university's goal of becoming a Top 50 public research university by 2025. When K-State faculty and staff participate in the campaign annually, it sends a positive message of commitment to the alumni, friends and corporate partner who are willing to invest in our university.
Thank you to the 2014 campaign's outstanding volunteers and to you for another successful year.
