Oct. 7-10: Launch of the Innovation and Inspiration Campaign
Submitted by Innovation and Inspiration Campaign Planning
Dear campus community:
This October, Kansas State University is planning to gather more than 1,000 students, staff, faculty, alumni and friends for a major, multiday event to open the public phase of the Inspiration and Innovation Campaign. This experience will highlight the promise and current accomplishments of K-State 2025 and, in particular, the generosity of our donors who have invested in this vision. The goal of the Oct. 7-10 events will be to share inspiring messages of the impact K-State has on society and the importance and urgency of philanthropic support for K-State students, faculty, facilities and programs.
Events, especially large ones like this, require tremendous resources from across the academy. In this case, we expect that many faculty, staff and students will be called upon to be involved — from hosting to participating — and your availability will be important. Because of this, we ask for your assistance. If your college, department, unit or area is planning events during Oct. 7-10, please share your plans with our staff at CampaignPlanningCore@k-state.edu.
Creating an inspirational vision, which leads to the investment of others, cannot be done without students, staff and faculty. Thank you for your part in this; we look forward to sharing more details as the planning continues.
Sincerely,
Kirk Schulz, President
April Mason, Provost
Amy Button Renz, K-State Alumni Association
John Currie, K-State Athletics
Greg Willems, KSU Foundation
