Oregon State University lecture series honors K-State geographer Richard Marston
The College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University has established the Marston Lecture in Geography.
Richard A. Marston, university distinguished professor at K-State, gave the series' inaugural lecture, "Physical Geography and Geospatial Science in Environmental Management: Past Lessons and Prospects for the Future," on Friday, Oct. 23.
Marston also presented an invited seminar, "Using Ecoregion Analysis to Test whether 'Place Matters' in Physical Geography," at the University of Oregon the previous day.
