Chinese New Year's celebration gala Feb. 15 at McCain
The Chinese Students and Scholars Union invites everyone to join the Chinese New Year's celebration gala at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, at McCain Auditorium. The event is to celebrate the Year of the Monkey.
Performances at the gala include the traditional Chinese dances and songs to modern pop songs and American swing dance. All of these shows will be performed by talented K-State students, faculty and staff members. Attendees of the gala will have the opportunity to win a TV, iWatch and more.
Before the show, you will be welcome to the gala by a memorable luck bag, filled with a postcard and Chinese candies, symbolizing good fortunes for you and your family in the new year. Admission tickets will available for free at the McCain box office starting Wednesday, Feb. 10. The admission tickets also will be used for the gift raffle.
