Deadline extended for the 28th annual K-State Conference on Applied Statistics in Agriculture call for presentations
The 28th annual K-State Conference on Applied Statistics in Agriculture will be May 1-3 at the Hilton Garden Inn and Convention Center in Manhattan. The submission deadline for presentation abstracts has been extended to Feb. 15.
This annual conference provides a forum for discussion of statistical issues motivated by agricultural problems and brings together statisticians from academia, industry and government to discuss ideas and advancements in agricultural statistics. Read more information.
The 2016 conference will feature a workshop — Additions and Upgrades in Our Everyday Statistical Toolbox — and a keynote address, "Applying Deming's Principles for Management and Teaching to Spur Excellence in Research" presented by Ralph O'Brien, professor emeritus of biostatistics at Case Western Reserve University.
