Swanson's co-authored paper accepted for presentation at a Strategic Management Conference in Berlin
Diane Swanson's co-authored paper "Firm Profiles in Corporate Social Performance: Toward a Theory of Their Existence and Instrumentality" has been accepted for presentation at this year's Strategic Management Society's annual conference in Berlin in September.
This paper develops the concept of corporate issue selection inconsistency, explores the conditions that affect it, and relates these concepts to corporate social responsibility in theory and practice. The main point of this research is to explain why firms pay more attention to some issues pertaining to social responsibility than others.
Swanson's co-authors are from the University of Adelaide and University of South Australia.
