Faculty/staff workshop for 2012 Common Book Selection April 11
Wondering how you can incorporate the 2012 Common Book selection into your work with students this fall?
On Wednesday, April 11, the K-State Book Network, or KSBN, will host a workshop for faculty and staff about the many ways that Rebecca Skloot's "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" can be part of coursework and event programming.
Tara Coleman, co-chair of the Kansas State Book Network, and Sue Williams, recipient of the 2011 Kansas State Book Network Faculty/Staff Award and associate professor of sociology, will lead the discussion, which will be held in Union 207, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
