Public administration professor active throughout March and April
Krishna K. Tummala, professor of public administration, was invited by the provost of the University of Montana-Missoula to visit the campus in March-April and assess its international development studies minor. During the visit Tummala gave an invited lecture, “Politics of Preference in Public Service: A comparative Pe also rspective.”
Tummala also participated in the Leadership Committee deliberations while attending the annual conference of the American Society for Public Administration in Las Vegas from April 2-6. He was asked by the newly-elected president of the society to serve as his senior adviser for international relations. He will also coordinate one of the major tracks – Ethics and Corruption – for the next American Society for Public Administration conference in March 2013 in New Orleans.
At the annual conference, Tummala was also selected to serve as an academic adviser to the forthcoming International Conference on Public Administration in October at Osmania University in Hyderabad, India, while serving as a liaison between the participating organizations: the Chinese Public Administration Society, Indian Public Administration Association, Australian Public Administration and the American Society for Public Administration.
