Demonstrations for new university copiers start today
Kansas State University has partnered with the Kansas Board of Regents to offer a new university multifunctional device — copier, printer, scanner and fax — contract with SumnerONE/UDP and Konica Minolta equipment.
The new contract offers an average potential savings of 50 percent for most equipment when compared to the existing copier contract. SumnerONE/UDP, a locally-owned provider, will service all equipment on campus with a guaranteed three hour response time for service related calls.
SumnerONE/UDP will conduct on-campus equipment demonstrations from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, in 214 of Hale Library.
Pricing, equipment information, user guides and order forms will be available at the demonstrations and by contacting the purchasing office. Departments should submit order forms directly to Sumner/UDP for new equipment no later than Oct. 1.
The university's current contract with Century United, SOK12156, expires on Oct. 31. Contact the purchasing office at 785-532-6214 or kspurch@k-state.edu for questions concerning these contracts.
