Legislative update
This is the final week of the 2018 Kansas Legislature's regular session. The Legislature will adjourn on Friday, April 6, and return for the veto session on Thursday, April 26.
This week, the legislators will be busy in conference committee meetings resolving the different versions of bills passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate. Also this week, the House will begin work on the House floor to craft a bill to respond to the Kansas Supreme Court ruling on K-12 education.

The Kansas Legislative Session's first adjournment will be Friday, April 6. The veto session will convene on Thursday, April 26. The 90th day is May 4. Please see the weekly updates every Tuesday in K-State Today through the 90th day or final adjournment.
The Office of Governmental Relations will host a Kansas Legislative Review Session from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, April 13, in the K-State Student Union's Bluemont Room. This session is open to all K-State faculty, staff and students; feel free to bring a brown-bag lunch.
