K-State Marching Band to host scholarship golf tournament May 19
On Saturday, May 19, the Kansas State University Marching Band will host the eighth annual Marching Pride Scholars Golf Tournament. All proceeds from this event will go toward scholarships for upperclassmen in the K-State Marching Band and Classy Cats.
This four-person golf scramble will be played at Colbert Hills. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Lunch is provided with golfer registration as well as course contests — putting contest, closest to the pin, longest drive, etc., a silent auction, and a good time regardless of how much practice you have.
More information can be found on the band website or by calling the band office at 785-532-3816 if you have any questions.
