'Women and Nutrition in our Industrial Age: What to Choose'
The Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies Advisory Board invites K-Staters to attend a lecture by Dr. Suelyn Hall, urologist, titled "Women and Nutrition in our Industrial Age: What to Choose" at 5:30 p.m Tuesday, April 24, at Strasser Village Plaza, 300 N. Fourth St., Manhattan.
Hall has more than 20 years of experience and will address how chronic diseases link to diet and nutrition, risk factors, the extent diet plays a role in chronic diseases and how diets are changing. In 2015, she opened Quantum Health and Wellness in Manhattan. She earned her medical degree from New York Medical College.
This free event is open to the public. A social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with complimentary drinks and appetizers followed by Hall's talk and a question and answer period.
