Faculty Senate is accepting applications for the 2018-2021 Ombudsperson position
Dear Colleagues,

The duties of an ombudsperson are considered university service and are highly valued by faculty and unclassified professionals alike. A faculty member serving in this position will be expected to continue to fulfill their regular teaching, research or service; likewise a professional staff person will continue with their assigned responsibilities during the time that they serve as an ombuds. Each ombudsperson is compensated in the amount of $5,000 per year by Human Capital Services. The length of the appointment is three years.
At the beginning of the fall 2018 semester, Christy Craft's term as a faculty ombudsperson will expire. This message serves as notice of the upcoming vacancy. Interested faculty members must be employed directly by Kansas State University and not an affiliated entity, such as the K-State Student Union or K-State Alumni Association.
