Pre-Law Ambassadors host Washburn Law Professor Shawn Leisinger
Join the K-State Pre-Law Ambassadors as they host Washburn Law Professor Shawn Leisinger through the Pre-Law Program's Rural Legal Speaker Series from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, in 209 K-State Student Union.
Leisinger will discuss ethical issues in rural practice and career options for lawyers in rural areas. He will focus on a discussion of the variety of traditional and non-traditional roles that lawyers can take on in rural areas.
Leisinger is the executive director of the Centers for Excelled at Washburn Law School. The centers are focused in the areas of advocacy, business and transactional law, children and family law, international and comparative law, law and government, and oil and gas law. Leisinger oversees development of the center's programming and the actual events and activities of the centers throughout the year.
