Five JMC students finalists in regional video production competition
Five students in the College of Arts and Sciences' A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications are finalists in a regional video production competition.
The South Central Broadcast Society has recognized the following student works as finalists in this regional competition. Grand Prize winners will be announced and the awards will be presented Oct. 19 at the Broadcast Education Association On Location in Houston, Texas.
In 2011, a cooperative of schools in the "South – Central" region of the U.S. began a regional competition and conference, which is called the South Central Broadcasting Society. As a regional production competition, entries may only come from undergraduate college and university students enrolled in school in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas — and any state that borders any of these states.
