The Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth at K-State, or SPICMACAY-KSU, presents Vasant Festival 2019 sponsored by the Diversity Program Committee and the Manhattan Asian Market. The event is free and open to the public

Join us for live music and a dance concert by professional artists from North Carolina from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 30, Mark A. Chapman Theatre in Nichols Hall. The concert consists of Bharatnatyam, an Indian classical dance, and Indian classical/fusion vocal.

Learn the dance form of Bharatnatyam at a dance workshop from 5:30-6:15 p.m. March 30 in the basement of Nichols Hall. An exhibit, "Kitchens of South Asia," will display the various spices, ingredients and utensils from a typical South Asian Kitchen beginning at 6 p.m.
