Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs Family recognition nominations open
The Department of Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs invites everyone in the K-State community to nominate K-State friends and colleagues for the DMSA Family Recognition Pinning Celebration.
The department is recognizing students, faculty and staff who embrace K-State ideals of diversity, equity and inclusivity and thanking individuals for their efforts to make our multicultural students feel valued as a part of the K-State Family. This is a new ceremony that we will host once each month to recognize all nominees for their positive contributions to the K-State community.
Provide the name and email address of the nominee and write about 50 words about why they deserve a DMSA Family pin. All nominations are anonymous. This not a competition or an award — we are simply thanking the K-State community for all that is done to promote diversity and inclusion. All nominees will receive a DMSA Family pin and thank-you note.
The DMSA Family Recognition Pinning Celebration will be at 3 p.m. April 25 in Waters Hall. It is co-hosted by Ag Diversity Programs. All nominees will receive an email invitation informing them of the ceremony, but all on campus are invited to attend.
