K-State recycling shares fall move-in results
Congratulations, students! During fall 2020 move-in, K-Staters recycled 3.73 tons of recyclable material, which comprised of cardboard, paper products, plastic material No. 1-7 and aluminum cans, while only 3.67 tons went to the landfill.
Even with the restrictions this year, K-State had a more than 50.40% diversion rate for move-in. With great coordination with students, housing and dining, and recycling staff, we all make a difference.
