New Faculty Institute event on Wednesday, March 24
The New Faculty Institute invites new faculty to attend our upcoming event from 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, March 24, via Zoom.
K-State President Richard Myers will join us for a short presentation followed by a Q&A session. Following, Timothy Shaffer, director of the Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy and associate professor of communication studies, will share remarks about the historical context of Kansas State University and the connection to our land-grant mission.

The New Faculty Institute is a program for new faculty in their first or second year at K-State hosted by the Teaching and Learning Center. The New Faculty Institute provides networking and professional development opportunities to assist new faculty in becoming successful educators and researchers at Kansas State University.
