Office of First-generation Students to host virtual graduation celebration
The Office of First-generation Students, along with several campus partners, will celebrate this year’s first-generation May and Summer graduates virtually.
We recognize the importance of celebrating our students' accomplishments and the significance of this milestone for our students, their families and support systems. All first-generation graduates who respond to the invitation to this event will receive a green cord symbolizing their resilience to wear to commencement as well as other small tokens of congratulatory sentiment.
Please join us in congratulating our May and Summer first-generation graduates online from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 14. RSVP at k-state.edu/firstgen.
