Policies and handbook session for supervisors offered June 13

The "Effectively Utilizing K-State Policies and University Handbook" session will be offered from 1-5 p.m. Monday, June 13, in the K-State Alumni Center Banquet Room C.
This session provides an interactive opportunity for supervisors to apply K-State employment policies and the university handbook.
The session will help participants:
- Demonstrate understanding of K-State employment policies and the university handbook.
- Locate K-State employment policies when needed.
- Utilize K-State employment policies equitably across all employee types in various situations.
- Establish “swim lanes” to decide what situations supervisors can handle and what needs to be passed on to Human Capital Services.
You must be a current supervisor of university support staff or unclassified professionals to attend this session. This session is offered in conjunction with the K-State Supervisory Foundations Pillar I: Establishing Your Supervisory Foundation certificate program and seating is limited.
