Cancer research dining hall competition ends Oct. 13
The Kramer and Derby dining halls will host a competition to raise funds for the Johnson Cancer Research Center's Wildcats Give $10 to Cure Cancer, or WG10-2C, initiative from Oct. 9 through noon Friday, Oct. 13. The dining hall that raises the most money during this period will have a special presentation from Basketball Coach Jerome Tang.
The initiative encourages all Wildcats to support the center by donating as little as $10 through Oct. 28. Donations will support K-State's nonprofit Johnson Cancer Research Center as it provides faculty and students funds for cancer research. The goal is to raise $200,000. Each donation can be made in memory or in honor of family or friends.
"The Cure Starts with Us" is the center's slogan. If everyone at K-State, in the Manhattan community and across the state of Kansas gives at least $10, the center will reach its goal to support K-State cancer research. Please share the link with friends and family to give $10.
Give to WG10-2C online or take a photo of these QR codes to give to one of the halls respectfully.
