Institute for Digital Agriculture and Advanced Analytics Academic Program Committee to meet on Feb. 28
Submitted by Institute for Digital Agriculture and Advanced Analytics
The Academic Program Committee of the Institute for Digital Agriculture and Advanced Analytics, or ID3A, will meet from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, in Hale Library's Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab.
Building from previous discussions that have identified a program structure and desired student competencies, this meeting will focus on identifying a robust and flexible common core for a new graduate certificate in agricultural analytics. This common core will be comprised of elective courses in programming, statistics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and geospatial technologies and analysis.
All interested faculty and staff may attend, including those managing or directing other non-agriculture analytics programs on campus. Students are also encouraged to participate.
For more information about this, and future, Academic Program Committee meetings, contact the board of directors at id3a@k-state.edu. You can also follow ID3A on Facebook to stay up to date on all of the institute's activities.
