Save the date: K-State Law Fair, Sept. 6
If you have ever considered a career in the legal profession, the Kansas State University Law Fair is for you.
The College of Arts and Sciences pre-law program will host the K-State Law Fair from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, on the second floor of the K-State Student Union. It will be an opportunity to explore the study of law, the legal profession and law school requirements with representatives from around the nation.
"It's so important for a student to find a school and a path that is right for them," said Daralyn Gordon Arata, K-State pre-law adviser. "The chance to talk one-on-one with the experienced professionals from schools from New York, California, Washington, D.C., Texas, Florida and many of the states of the union is wonderful. It gives students the freedom to explore the possibilities that are in front of them after college."
The fair is open to all students and will be a come-and-go event. Students are free to stay for a few minutes or a few hours. Representatives from 45 law schools will be on hand to answer questions.
To preregister, visit 112 Eisenhower Hall or call 785-532-6904. Registration also is available at the door.
