Serve as a Volunteer Campaign Ambassador for the 2024-2025 K-State United Way campaign

Submitted by K-State United Way Campaign Committee

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as Volunteer Campaign Ambassadors for the upcoming 2024-2025 K-State United Way campaign. Ambassadors will play a crucial role in promoting the campaign and encouraging participation across campus.

As a Volunteer Campaign Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to represent your unit and collaborate with colleagues to advance the mission of United Way. Ambassadors participate in an orientation to learn about United Way's impact and effectively share campaign information with your department through meetings, emails and events, while encouraging colleagues to contribute through volunteer opportunities or donations.

Why become a Volunteer Campaign Ambassador?

  • Make a difference: By serving as an ambassador, you will directly contribute to the positive impact United Way has on our community.
  • Develop leadership skills: Enhance your communication, organization and leadership abilities through active participation in the campaign.
  • Foster community spirit: Strengthen the sense of community and collaboration within your unit and across the university.

With your support, we can make this year's campaign our most successful yet. If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer Campaign Ambassador or would like more information about the role, please contact Cheryl Grice, community engagement director, ksuuw@k-state.edu, by June 28.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to support a cause that makes a difference in the lives of individuals in our community. Together, we can continue to build a stronger, more vibrant community through the Kansas State University United Way Campaign.
