College of Arts and Sciences names Altwegg as academic recruitment coordinator
After a national search, the College of Arts and Sciences has named Paige Altwegg as its academic recruitment coordinator, effective Aug. 4.
Altwegg earned her bachelor's degree in family studies and human services from Kansas State University and her master's degree in school counseling from Emporia State University. She has spent the past three years as a high school counselor and is excited to work with both prospective and current K-State students. In addition to actively recruiting new students for the college, Altwegg will work with the Arts and Sciences Ambassadors and WildcatLink mentoring programs.
Altwegg joins the college's current recruitment team of Kimathi Choma, assistant dean for diversity, recruitment and retention; Christie Launius, associate dean for student success, engagement and undergraduate studies; and Zac Malcolm, director of recruitment.
