IT hiring initiative is underway
Submitted by Division of Information Technology
K-State has launched three distinct searches to fill 10 IT director positions across the institution, an effort that serves as a critical catalyst in aligning resources across the university in service of the Next-Gen K-State IT Transformation initiative.
Searches are being conducted for an IT director for K-State Olathe, an IT director for the Office of Research and for eight IT directors serving academic colleges and major units across the university. The latter search employs a cluster hiring approach, allowing applicants to submit only one application for consideration across the eight available positions.
Successful candidates will serve as members of a distributed leadership team across the university, collaboratively developing and implementing strategic IT plans within their respective units that align with the university's next-generation land-grant goals.
Applicants are encouraged to review the position descriptions and apply for any or all of the available positions according to their backgrounds and interests. Position details are available on the IT hiring initiative website.
