AI T-shirt design student competition

Submitted by Raelynne Hale

The Artificial Intelligence Symposium committee invites students to submit T-shirt design ideas for this year's AI Symposium: Trust AI?

Students must use a publicly available AI generative tool to create and design the T-shirt. Students will then submit the final image, along with the prompt used and the name of the AI generative tool used at this submission link. Each student may only submit one T-shirt design and must be a current undergraduate or graduate student at K-State.

The deadline for students to submit a design is Sept. 1.

One grand prize of $100 will be awarded for the selected T-shirt design and runners-up will be posted on the event website in October. The winner will be contacted by email.

For more information on the AI Symposium, please visit the event website.

Please encourage students to follow the guidelines below when submitting their design:

  • The design created by the AI system must not be modified.
  • Use the highest resolution possible. For good quality T-shirts, the ideal size is 3000x3000 pixels, however, we can accept 1024x1024 pixels as well.
  • Transparent PNG file format is preferred. Alternatively, an SVG or Illustrator file is acceptable.
  • When you submit the T-shirt design file, include the full prompt used to generate the design, along with the name of the generative AI tool used and a link to it. Please also include your full name and K-State email.
  • Finally, the committee will not consider any images with inappropriate/hateful language or images.
