Retirement reception for Mary Grubbs Aug. 22
After nearly 30 years of service, Mary Grubbs, custodial supervisor, will retire from Kansas State University. A come-and-go reception will be from 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, in the lower atrium of the Engineering Complex. Refreshments will be served.
Grubbs began employment with the university in 1995 as a custodial specialist. Grubbs has has spent time in multiple buildings across campus, allowing her to befriend many along the way. She was promoted to a custodial supervisor in 2002 and currently leads the custodial team in the Engineering Complex and the Unger Complex.
Over the years, Grubbs' dedication to ensuring positive first impressions and providing a healthy and pleasing environment has played an integral role in the recruitment and retention of students, faculty and staff. She will undoubtedly be missed by many.
