Alice Anderson recognized as Professional Staff of the Week
Alice Anderson, an instructional designer with K-State Libraries, was recognized as Professional Staff of the Week at the Nov. 7 women's home basketball game. Faculty Senate, the Office of the President, K-State Athletics and the Division of Communications and Marketing wish to recognize her contributions to K-State.
Anderson is passionate about helping others learn through innovative educational experiences. In the 10 years she has been at K-State, her work has focused on the development of self-efficacy and self-regulated learning. Anderson works with other librarians to provide high-impact online content for faculty and students, and brings an extensive background in learning theory, technology integration strategies and system design. She also co-leads the AIbrarians, a group dedicated to advancing AI literacy for students, faculty and the community.
Anderson has a master's degree in learning and performance systems from Penn State University, a master's degree in management of information systems from Shippensburg University and a bachelor's degree in computer studies from the University of Maryland.
