Recalling someone who responded nobly to heartache
I’ll never forget how my mother-in-law died. For two years, she was a hospice patient in our home. She faced her pain and suffering with incredible dignity to the very moment of her death. Her faith sustained her. So did the support and love of her daughter, son-in-law, and son throughout her ordeal. What she gave back to us was inspiration that enlarged our lives.
Reframing a challenge as a purpose gives meaning to suffering. Purpose is motion toward a better future.
