Are we victims of our anger?
Does being emotionally highjacked mean we are not responsible for our behavior when we are angry? For example, if a man is accused of harming a child while in a rage, could he use an "emotionally highjacked defense"? Could he blame his brain? What do you think? Keep in mind that we are not always in control of how we feel. But we have the responsibility for how we act on those feelings.
Record your response in your journal. If we let anger take us out of control are we to blame for what we do?
