Second Self-test
8. “Throughout FireWorks, the people who seem to trigger our anger are viewed as potential partners in anger management” is true?
This is true. This position is easily misunderstood. We have to use our anger to take action and to learn about ourselves. Instead of viewing the other person who seems to trigger our anger as an enemy, we would care more for ourselves by seeing the experience as a learning opportunity.
Adversity provides opportunities for both insight and strength. If every "enemy" was viewed more as a teacher, then the bitterness that can corrupt our hearts will not find fertile soil.
This does not mean that we should not get angry. There are times when this emotion serves us well. But anger should not own us.
