Aggression is a form of power
May suggests that the next level of power is aggression, the use of power to intervene directly in the life of another person. Aggression is intervention. Aggression can, of course, be harmful. But in some situations it can be appropriate. A teen taking car keys away from a friend who has had too much alcohol to drink is an example of benevolent aggression.
