27th annual Concert Band Clinic begins Friday
The 27th annual K-State Concert Band Clinic will take place Friday, Jan. 24, through Sunday, Jan. 26.
More than 700 students will be on campus and receive a quality musical experience from nationally acclaimed guest clinicians. The three-day event includes seven large ensembles, sectional rehearsals and master classes with K-State music faculty and music students.
Special guests this year are the internationally renowned Boston Brass. They will perform a concert with the K-State Wind Ensemble at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at McCain Auditorium. The final concert, featuring Concert Band Clinic students, will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26. Both concerts are free and open to the public.
