Pollution Prevention Intern Program now accepting applications

Submitted by Allison Crowther

The Pollution Prevention Institute in Engineering Extension is seeking internship applications from students in engineering, environmental science, and other relevant physical sciences, who are in their junior level or higher for a 2020 summer internship.

Pollution Prevention Institute interns will be paired with Kansas companies to research and develop projects that will prevent pollution by reducing usage of energy, water and toxic chemicals, producing recommendations that help the environment, save money and improve workplaces.

The online application for this internship program is available at sbeap.org/intern-program/intern-app. Deadline for application submittal is Jan. 31 at the close of business.
