BLT Class List

Have you always wanted to learn a new language? Perhaps delve into a new culture? The International Student and Scholar Services office is sponsoring the Basic Language Training Program, a brief series of noncredit classes that meet for one hour, twice per week, for eight weeks.

Registration is open for the following 10 language classes for spring 2020: Arabic, Cantonese, Chinese, Chinese — Advanced, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Sindhi, Spanish and Spanish — Advanced. Native speakers teach the classes and offer insight into the culture and history of their home country. To view a complete schedule of classes, and registration form, visit the International Student and Scholar Services website.

Registration deadline is Jan. 31 and payment will be due no later than Feb. 7. You may also stop by 104 International Student Center to register in person during our office hours. Each course has a $35 fee and only cash or checks are accepted.

Classes will begin Feb. 10 and run through April 10, and will not meet during spring break. For questions contact Liz Alcantara, lizbeth@k-state.edu, or call 785-532-6448.
