International Education Week

K-State is celebrating the 2024 K-State International Education Week Nov. 10-22. This campuswide collaboration creates an increased awareness of the global impact that K-State provides by recognizing, advancing and elevating international engagements through a variety of activities. 

"This week provides a great opportunity for our university community to learn, absorb and support the international initiatives that make our campus a rich and diverse global arena," said Grant Chapman, associate provost for international programs. "We hope that all will take advantage and participate."  

Visit the K-State International Education Week website for details and plan to participate in the variety of activities held across campus and online.

Plan to attend any or all of these and more events:

  • Education Abroad Pop-up Advising.
  • Noontime Yoga.
  • Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art and "Storytelling: Arts of India" and the "Printing Beyond Borders" exhibit.
  • Fulbright Scholar and Student information sessions
  • Coffee Hour: Columbia, hosted by International Student and Scholar Services.
  • Second annual International Film Festival, hosted by the Wildcat Film Appreciation Society.
  • International Food Festival(s). 
  • "Global Workforce Development" an AIEA Thematic Forum collaboration with Kansas City Kansas Community College and K-State. 
  • "Music Brings the World Together" hosted by the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. 
  • International Adventures in Board Games.
  • Lacy's Fresh Fare food specials.
  • Announcements of the International Educator Award, International Innovative Education Program of the Year Award and the Outstanding Support for International Initiatives Award.
