Kansas Board of Regents December meeting university updates

K-State items on the consent agenda:
K-State received approval to terminate a ground lease with the Salina Airport Authority.
K-State items on the discussion agenda:
The Regents approved six additional courses for transfer across the Kansas Board of Regents system.
The Regents approved fiscal year 2026 housing and food service rates.
The Regents approved the distribution of the remaining $3.67 million of the Legislature appropriated $7.5 million to the Board of Regents for information technology and cybersecurity upgrades to continue progress on prioritized projects. K-State's recommended allocation is $681,837.
The Regents approved the allocation of fiscal year 2026 Educational Building Fund appropriations. K-State's recommended allocation is $17,492,000.
The Regents approved the allocation of fiscal year 2026 Campus Restoration Act funds. K-State's recommended allocation is $8.97 million.
The Regents approved non-budgetary legislative proposals for the 2025 legislative session.
