All are welcome to attend Water Wednesday in Olathe

Submitted by Melissa Harvey

Registration is open for this month's Water Wednesday, which will take place on Feb. 12 at K-State Olathe. This monthly luncheon is hosted by the Kansas Water Institute and will feature networking opportunities and conversations surrounding water research facilities and equipment.

The session is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Great Plains Room on the Olathe campus. Attendees will discuss available equipment for water quality research and identify collaborations across disciplines, departments and campuses.

"Water Wednesdays have been instrumental in building our interdisciplinary network of water-related professionals," said Susan Metzger, Kansas Water Institute director. "We are excited to host this event on the Olathe campus where our water community can expand their networks and strengthen their collaborations."

The agenda will encourage the group to discuss existing and future water research facilities across K-State. Participants will be able to review available equipment, determine specific needs and establish possibilities for collaborating across campuses.

Interested individuals are invited to RSVP online. All K-State faculty, staff and students are welcome, but space is limited to the first 60 registrants. A complimentary lunch will be provided, and free parking is available outside the venue.

The Kansas Water Institute hosts Water Wednesday events each month, aiming to facilitate meaningful exchanges and showcase impactful research. The full Water Wednesday schedule is available on the Kansas Water Institute website. To request additional information, contact water@k-state.edu.
