Kansas State University promotes 74 faculty members, 30 receive tenure

Seventy-four Kansas State University faculty members are receiving promotions in rank, with 30 faculty members earning tenure. These will go into effect Jul. 1.

"These faculty exemplify Kansas State University's tradition of excellence in research, teaching, and service to the university and beyond," said Jesse Perez Mendez, provost and executive vice president. "Their contributions are pivotal in advancing our status as a very high research-intensive institution, driving significant student success and economic impact. We are proud of the outstanding achievements of these newly tenured and promoted faculty. I congratulate them and look forward to their continued success and further contributions to our community."

The promotions include 36 faculty members to the rank of full professor, 29 faculty members to the rank of associate professor with tenure, nine additional faculty promotions and one earning tenure.

Laura Miller, diagnostic medicine/pathobiology earned tenure.
