Effectively Utilizing K-State Policies and University Handbook offered virtually on March 3 and 5

Effectively Utilizing K-State Policies and University Handbook will be offered on Zoom from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 3, and Wednesday, March 5. Attendance at both sessions will be required to receive credit for the topic.
This topic provides an interactive opportunity for supervisors to apply K-State employment policies and the university handbook.
As a result of this session, participants will:
- Demonstrate understanding of K-State employment policies and the university handbook.
- Locate K-State employment policies when needed.
- Utilize K-State employment policies equitably across all employee types in various situations.
- Establish “Swim Lanes” to identify what situations supervisors can handle and what needs to be passed on to Human Resources.
To attend this session, you must be a current supervisor (of USS or unclassified professionals). This session is offered in conjunction with the K-State Supervisory Foundations Pillar I: Establishing Your Supervisory Foundation certificate program. Seating is limited.
