NSF graduate research fellowship informational sessions
The Office of Nationally Competitive Scholarships, the Office of Research and the Graduate School are hosting informational sessions on the National Science Foundation graduate research fellowship program from 3-4 p.m. Sept. 11, 15 and 17 in the K-State Student Union's Room 207.
The National Science Foundation awards approximately 2,000 graduate research fellowships each year, each including a three-year annual stipend of $32,000.
The sessions will provide information on eligibility guidelines, application procedures and application deadlines as well as present advice on writing a strong proposal. Seniors who plan to pursue graduate study and first- or second-year graduate students are eligible to apply for the fellowship and are encouraged to attend one of the informational sessions. Faculty members mentoring students who are eligible for the fellowship also are welcome to attend.
